GLDIAN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

We are excited to announce a new GLDI internship program!

We want to journey with GLDI alumni in continuing their growth spiritually, relationally, professionally and personally.  We also need people who understand the vision, heart and the significance of our ministry to journey with JAMA’s growth on this vast campus God has given us. This new GLDI internship program will be an opportunity for us to do both, where participants can make a tangible contribution to JAMA/GLDI’s growth with their talents and work on their personal development in a community with other interns.

 

  • WHAT: 6-month GLDI internship with an integrated “personal boot camp”
     

  • WHERE: JAMA Global Campus in Lindale, TX
     

  • WHEN: Applications open now for March 1-Aug 31, 2020 program
     

  • WHO: GLDI alumni committed to their personal, spiritual, relational, professional growth. A dozen interns will be selected through the application process for this inaugural program. 
     

  • COMPENSATION: Food & lodging provided. Fundraising for personal expenses encouraged. 
     

  • Programs/events:

      • National Day of Prayer 2020

      • GLDI 2021

      • College Prep: Radiant (CP: R) 2020

      • GLDI Kids 2020

      • Intercessory Prayer Conferences 2020

      • For Freedom & Faith (400th Anniversary of Puritan's Arrival in America) Prayer Rally 2020

      • Korean War 70th anniversary event for US Korean War Veterans 

      • Concert(s) and outreach events (exhibits, cafe night for local young people, etc.)
         

  • Overall tasks:  

    • Planning & executing events

    • Curriculum & program development & planning

    • Journalism

    • Historian/writing stories/interviews

    • Social media campaigns/Marketing

    • Translating between English and Korean (vice versa)

    • Media: graphic design, photography, videography, website development

    • Fund development/grant writing (“JAMA 471”)
       

    • Retreat center

      • Marketing & sales

      • Client services

      • Kitchen management (nutrition planning, cooking, cleaning, etc)

      • Cafe management

      • Facility management
         

    • Other areas

      • Landscaping

      • Repair & maintenance

      • Campus utility compliances

      • Renovation projects

        • general contracting

        • a/c, plumbing, electric work

  • APPLICATION PROCESS:

Through this application process, we want to determine the right candidates who are ready for this rigorous program.

4.   Background check to comply with our Youth Camp licensing
