Chicago Reunion - Sarah Kim (Class of ‘08)

GLDI Midwest reunion was so good and refreshing to my soul and spirit. It was great to meet people from other classes and hear their experiences from GLDI.

As the reunion came to a close, I was challenged to do things differently when I got back home. When Yunski shared the vision of forming accountability groups so that we can sharpen each other, I agreed wholeheartedly that this was important. Since I’ve been out for a year, I haven’t been in contact with everyone from my class, but there is a handful that I have been in contact with ever since we left GLDI last year. We have worked hard to form this tight knit by praying for one another and encouraging one another.

Some things I’ll be focusing on are making lifestyle changes. I think goals can be attainable if they are realistic. So I will start with a small list of things that I can do to change bad habits into “holy habits.”

GLDI was not just any random program, but it was a program that changed my life, my mindset, my understanding of God. I’m thankful for all the people behind it that share the same vision and same heart for God and I’m thankful for all my sisters and brothers that were able to attend and be transformed.

I hope to continue to run the race together and advance His Kingdom.

God Bless.

Sarah Kim
