Rev. John F. Parker

Rev. John Parker is a 4th generation American of pure Korean descent. His grandfather changed the name from Park to Parker in the early 1900’s to do business during a time of intense discrimination. Pastor John was a Bishop Golden Scholar in 1994 for his involvement in the L.A. riots and graduated in 1995 with the Denman Preaching Award. He was the Founding Pastor of Vision Christian Fellowship, NY, which became an independent chartered congregation in 2004. His primary goal is to “equip the saints for the work of ministry…” (Eph. 4:12-16). Through preaching God’s Word, building relationships, and discipleship training, Pastor John is excited to see God transform the congregation known as Living Hope Church, NJ, where he now serves as Senior Pastor. Heavily involved in missions, Living Hope Church is currently making impact in six geographical areas of the world. From a Christian school in Pokara, Nepal, to supporting missionaries in the far ends, to churches in Mexico and France, to their own backyard in the inner cities, the church is Living Hope to the world.
