Soong-Chan Rah, Ph.D.

soonchangrah Dr. Soong-Chan Rah is the Milton B. Engebretson Assistant Professor of Church Growth and Evangelism at North Park Theological Seminary. He is the founding Senior Pastor of Cambridge Community Fellowship Church (CCFC), which is a post-modern, multi-ethnic, urban ministry-focused church in the Central Square neighborhood of Cambridge, MA. Dr. Rah’s vision for CCFC was to see young men and women mobilized for a radical, incarnational ministry that impacts the city committing to living out the values of racial reconciliation and social justice in the urban context. Dr. Rah received his B.A. in Political Science and History/Sociology from Columbia University; his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; his Th.M. from Harvard University; and his D.Min. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary’s Center for Urban Ministerial Education. He has been published in Reconcilers Magazine and Leadership Journal and has been featured in Christianity Today. He is contributing author to the book, Growing Healthy Asian American Churches.
