Michelle Lee-Barnewall, Ph.D.

Dr. Michelle Lee-Barnewall is Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies and Theology at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA. Trained in New Testament studies, she desires to help students develop their relationship with Christ through an informed and application-oriented understanding of Scripture. Her doctoral studies focused on Paul’s concept of the church as the body of Christ in light of the cultural background. Dr. Lee-Barnewall has published articles in New Testament Studies and Novum Testamentum and has presented papers at the national meetings of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Society of Biblical Literature. She is the author of Paul, the Stoics, and the Body of Christ and the co-editor of Beauty is Soul Deep.
