A Changed Heart

At GLDI I was able to experience new and fresh relationships with others and personally define my own vision and calling.When I heard the testimonies of the speakers—those who have been running the race before me—I was hit deep within my soul. I was challenged and resolved never to stay complacent but to run with fervent passion. Those who desire to be used greatly by God must receive the desire to be used greatly.

Serving in my previous church, I was growing tired and weary and was tempted to just live out day by day without looking too much into the future for fear that I would become overburdened. But that complacent heart has absolutely changed! Praise God! Jesus has shown me His mercy and His promises through the lives of the many speakers and visionaries who spoke powerful truths into our lives. He has given me new strength and life through the encouragements of my fellow brothers and sisters. He has given me hope by His Word.

GLDI challenged me to critically think and provided opportunities for me to connect with fellow brothers and sisters. I have come to realize that each individual and each community is important because together they have the potential to bring glory to God.
